Several new restaurants and stores have been under construction throughout the Tradition area and we have been anxiously awaiting for each to be completed. Well, we are happy to report 2 of Tradition’s newest have opened their doors this past week: Taco Dive and Wawa.
On Wednesday, March 29th the Taco Dive started serving customers at its third location right in the heart of Tradition Square. They will be creating delicious taco concoctions and serving craft beers and wine and we can’t wait to indulge!
The second grand opening of the week was the Wawa on the corner of Tradition Parkway and Village Parkway on Thursday, March 30th. Port St Lucie residents were anxiously awaiting the first of this popular gas station and convenience store to open in St Lucie County. The first patrons received free t-shirts, food tastings, and watched a “Hoagies for Heroes” hoagie-building competition between the Port St. Lucie Police Department and the St. Lucie County Fire District.
But don’t fret if you missed the opening day. The Tradition Wawa will be celebrating its opening through April 9th with FREE coffee, 59 cent any size fountain drinks, $2.99 Shorti 6-inch hoagies, and $1.9912-ounce hand-spun milkshakes!
Jeremy and I were able to make it on opening day with our daughter Paisley as well and we enjoyed an awesome lunch of hoagies and milkshakes and Paisley loved the macaroni and cheese.
I ordered the Italian and added their roasted peppers, spinach, and sun dried tomato pesto which was delicious! Jeremy had their meatball sub loaded with toppings. The food was great and we were surprised how big their menu was for a “convenience store”. We will definitely be back!
The next grand opening on the horizon: Recovery Sports Grill. It is officially scheduled to open Monday, April 3rd!! We will update when we give it a try.
